Producing for the Listener and Buyer
Feb 6th, 2007 | By Justin Kaiser | Category: Audio that's Creative! As production people we have a tendency to produce for our ear possibly not understanding the science behind the processing we put on our productions, at least that was the case for me starting out. I knew that if you turned this knob this way my audio would sound different but I had no idea what that action was doing to my production.
Here is a visual link on You Tube regarding compression and limiting that will help you “see” what you are doing to that audio by turning that knob and what the outcome will be to the end user, the listener. I hope you find this interesting like I did.
