Club Spot

Jan 8th, 2008 | By Justin Kaiser | Category: Audio that's Creative!

Ric wrote and produced this club spot. The client voiced his own club spot. He sounded dull and just awful. Ric did this as a spec. Client took it. Guess he realized “he” sucked as his own talent. Thanks Laura ;-)

Trent and Gus voiced and written/produced by Albert. The realization is that they all “lend money”. So the prospective clientele knows the product. They just wanted to attach something catchy to their name. Wonderful job from both of them. Cheers dudes and dudettes.

Car Dealer Ad - Always Hitting The Mark

Jan 8th, 2008 | By Justin Kaiser | Category: Audio that's Creative!

As always Steve hits the voice mark. Written and produced by Albert. Simple concept, happy client. It’s not every day a car dealership plans that far in advance. But it’s nice when they do. Cheers - and thanks for listening.

We head to Ireland and our associate Eamon writes… Hil, here’s the finished spot that a lot of you threw your oars in for. Many thanks to one and all for their input, the client picked the final four that made it into the mix and he is delighted with the result. I didn’t do the final cut of this, so the processing I cannot help, but you get the jist of it! Movie Trailer Guy: Ric, Rose: Jinny, Rhett: Tom J (Irish Guy), Brando: Trent. Again, many thanks to one and all!

On holds and nationals

Jan 8th, 2008 | By Justin Kaiser | Category: Audio that's Creative!

Albert writes… It’s amazing what we do to eek out a living.

One day we’re voicing on hold scripts for a golf course and the next day we’re recording talent for national spots. Today it’s Meile (the appliances). I’m giddy.

Oddly, when working with talent we often go to a certain one becausewe know their read. Yesterday, the client asked if TJ could “pull off that read”. I said, “I don’t think so, but I’ll give it a try”. I booked her, played the original TV commercial for her, and she gave me a read I’d never heard before - from anyone with whom I’ve worked.

I was amazed. TJ is usually the “happy announcer girl”. And I realized, that if you feed her the line, she can spit it back at you dead on. First time I ever saw TJ close her eyes and just speak the lines. (cold, timed-to-video version attached)

Then her twins (Adam & Brady) offered this line!

Albert written and produced and voiced by Andrew. These will wrap an island with the 15 as the opener, and the 30 closing out the commercial break. Nice delivery Andrew. Many thanks.
